The right of withdrawal

In distance selling, customers have 14 days to withdraw: from delivery for a physical product, from purchase for a digital product or course.

Each product's setting

  • Immediate access, no withdrawal: at checkout, the buyer ticks a mandatory box requesting immediate access and acknowledging that they lose their right of withdrawal (digital products and courses only).
  • Right of withdrawal granted: no box; the buyer can withdraw within 14 days. A physical product always keeps this right.

In a cart that mixes both, the more protective policy applies.

Handle a withdrawal

  1. The customer clicks Withdraw in their customer area (you can also log one received by email). It appears in Orders › Withdrawals.
  2. Click Acknowledge. For a physical product, wait for the return and mark it received, or refund without waiting.
  3. The refund goes to the customer's payment method through Stripe; Stripe fees are not returned.

A withdrawal made within the legal period cannot be refused.
