1. Your legal information
In Advanced settings › Legal information:
- Country of operation: the country whose law applies to your business. It decides the statuses offered, the details asked and the page templates.
- Target markets: where you sell (European Union, United Kingdom, Switzerland, United States, California, Canada…). Templates add the matching clauses.
- Your status (in France: individual, micro-entrepreneur, sole proprietorship, company, association) and your contact details.
This information feeds your legal pages, terms of sale and invoices.
2. Your legal pages
- Open Website › Policies. Pages marked “Required” are mandatory in your country (in France: legal notice and privacy policy, plus terms of sale as soon as you sell).
- Choose the template language and click Use the template: the text is filled with your information; anything missing shows in brackets “to complete”.
- Proofread, complete, then Save.
Templates are a starting point: have them checked by a legal professional if in doubt.
